Creating an Interactive Urban Traffic System for the Simulation of Different Traffic Scenarios

The social and political efforts to fight climate change have contributed a re-thinking of traffic systems, especially in urban areas under constant transformation. To simulate visualize planning scenarios systems realistic way, the possibilities virtual 3D environments regularly been used. modern potentials (immersive) reality, however, still require exploration, evaluation, further development. Using game engine Unity, an immersive environment was developed experience dynamic conditions highly dense area. case study is based on characteristic model Central European city (not representation real city), which brings together specific considerations traffic, such as mirroring complex interplay pedestrians well individual public transport.
